3 persons were killed in a bus and van collision in Kalalpitiya in Nittambuwa on the Colombo – Kandy road. Police Media Spokesman’s office said that this accident had taken place at about 5 PM yesterday, when a bus trying to overtake a cab collided against a van heading in the opposite direction. While the bus driver has been arrested in connection with the accident, he is scheduled to be produced before the Attanagalla Magistrate court today.
