Tillakaratne Dilshan is the party that will contest the next general election.

Tillakaratne Dilshan, a former captain of the Sri Lanka national cricket team and a batsman, is ready to contest the next general election from the Sri Lanka Peoples Alliance (UPFA).

It is reported that he will most likely contest the general election from Kalutara or Galle.

Just a few months ago, he met former President Mahinda Rajapaksa and joined the People's Alliance.
